Feasibility and techno-economic analysis of stand-alone and grid-connected PV/Wind/Diesel/Batt hybrid energy system: A case study

In this study, the economic and environmental benefits of stand-alone grid integration are thoroughly analyzed with different system configurations a PV/Wind/Diesel/Battery based hybrid energy (HES) for five climatic regions using optimization model electric renewables (HOMER). A detailed techno-economic study optimized systems is further examined by integrating grid-connected option. The HESs discussed. sensitivity various sell-back price to national also investigated. Additionally, barriers opportunities installing such projects in off-grid Results indicate that cost (COE, $/kWh) net present (NPC, $) PV/Diesel/Battery Rajshahi region slightly lower compared other areas, considering emissions. same Chattogram shows great potential both financially environmentally, over zones. HES option offers significant cost-benefits (0.07$/kWh), even tariff (0.10$/kWh). Similar revenues can be attained PV/Battery-based as substantial amount excess could supplied facilities. integrated HES, around 45,582 kg-CO2/yr saved only system, whereas 32,905 one.
